Youth and Men Empowerment Conferences

Born number 3 in a family of 6, Dexter was raised in a low- income family. His dad was a Taxi Driver and his mom sold peanuts and candy outside schools. Neither of his parents completed high school. His father was a strong disciplinarian but was seldom at home to spend time with his family. His father was content being a Taxi Driver and wanted no more out of life. His mother trained her three sons to go door- to -door selling peanuts to make ends meet. At eight years old Dexter started selling peanuts so his family could survive. It was at this point in Dexter's life where he learned the importance and power of diligence. Selling peanuts in his local neighborhood taught him responsibility, leadership and confidence. He learned the value of having a pleasant and positive attitude. The money he made from diligently selling peanuts is the same money he used years later to travel to College.

He believes that education is the key to solving the ills of poverty, drug abuse, and immorality. He attacks problems in education at the source. He has launched programs such as Adopt a School, Bridge The Gap After School Program and Academic Champions.

His mission is to help improve the quality of life for boys and men; creating positive, nurturing, mentoring relationships. In 2003, he launched Boys To Men, a non-profit community based organization that serves as a catalyst for disadvantaged, underprivileged young men of the Virgin Islands. He also started a leadership camp for boys. He has empowered thousands ranging from grade schools throughout universities and organizations.

Dexter mission is also to change the lives of men. He has individually mentored hundreds of men over the years concerning family, responsibility and integrity.

Dexter's life altering messages have been delivered at youth organizations, schools, universities and churches across the country. Dexter empowers his audiences with his charismatic inspiring discourses on never giving up, pursuing your dreams, Knowing your purpose, leadership and overcoming obstacles.

College Motivational Speaking

Known as the man who can take nothing and make it into something. Dexter started a bible study in college, it started small and grew so much the English classroom transformed into a sanctuary of 30 or more students.
