Speak The Word Ministries is a family-oriented, non-denominational, faith based ministry that has something for everyone. Located at #7 Peters Rest, Speak The Word offers a variety of programs and ministries for all ages. Beginning with the youngest, we have our Nursery for babies, ages 3mo. - 3yrs. Infants are lovingly cared for while toddlers are taught Gods Word through activities designed to bring Gods love to them at their level.
For children ages 4-12, we offer our Childrens ministry. Our Childrens Ministry has dedicated teachers who devotedly and skillfully teach the Old and New Testament bible stories in a way that can relate to the issues that children face today (e.g. teasing, bullying, obedience, etc).
For our teenagers, we offer three effective and powerful programs: Boys To Men, Sister 2 Sister, and Fresh Fire Teens Ministry. Boys to Men is designed for boys ages 13-17. Through conferences, seminars and mentorship we teach young men leadership principles, job seeking skills as well as scholastic achievement. Boys To Men strongly advocates abstinence and drug free living.
Our Sister 2 Sister program is for teenage girls ages 13-17. We reach out to the young women in the community by offering practical self-esteem building seminars, abstinence teaching, college prep and more.

Our Fresh Fire Teens Ministry is open to all teens and young adults. We meet on a weekly basis where both young men and women alike learn practical biblical principles on leadership, handling peer pressure, and other tough teen issues. Fresh Fire Teens Ministry also places great emphasis on showcasing talent in any form. Teens and young adults can be a part of our drama team, dance crew, or choir, if interested. We also offer opportunities for community service.
For adults, we offer Relationship School every Friday night, which empowers marriages and improves familial relations through the practical application of Gods Word.
For Believers on any level, we offer our Deeper Life and Foundational Classes to help nurture and grow believers on their spiritual walk.
Here, at Speak the Word, its our goal to get Gods Word to the believer through every facet of media. A copy of each service on DVD and CD is available after every service. On our website, stwmi.org, we offer 24hr radio and TV Networks, Message Series, Message Transcripts and much more.

Valerie Ivy Holcomb

Valerie Holcomb is the wife of Nathaniel Holcomb, Pastor and Bishop of the Christian House of Prayer Ministries.  She is the mother of four children and grandmother of ten.

Valerie Ivy Holcomb is a down to earth woman and is touched by the acquaintances she makes in the ministry. She is motivated when growth takes place in a persons life through Gods Word. Her message is a message of self-evaluation. The Word of God that she ministers causes people to make mid-term corrections because of her own willingness to be transparent before them.

As an Elder, God has given her insight for oversight. As the wife of a Pastor/Bishop, she has a heart for Gods people and has traveled with her husband preaching, teaching and encouraging many. As a dynamic duo, they set hearts ablaze with a zeal to know HIM more. When God called her in the ministry, He said, Your ministry will compliment your husbands ministry and many shall know you both as one. She is one who enjoys being a Woman of God.
